I'm not a big fan of their help desk, to be honest. It comes across as overpriced, especially against some of the other freeware options out there or freemium ones. It's pretty pricey for its assets as far as I'm concerned. It's got a lot of features built-in outros and intros, a bunch of assets you can do.
Well, for one, it is relatively easy to use the basic functions. They were all useful too, but the clients that I work with only has Camtasia license and that's why I use it. Other screen capture software that I've tried includes DemoCreator and Movavi Screen Recorder, a third one that I can't remember offhand.
It's generally works, but I don't find it particularly exceptional, which is why I give it a three out of five. I am a freelance marketer working primarily with small business tech companies, software companies and marketing agencies, creating tutorial and demonstration videos, and that's what I use Camtasia for.
